The libraries are a new addition in the latest Microsoft operating system Windows 7 They have developed mainly from the My Documents folder, which by the fact that they were lined limited to an absolute position on the computer system. Libraries can connect to the other side and shows the content from multiple locations, the very helpful if photos, videos, music or documents or even in different folders on different hard drives is stored.

Libraries are by default limited. Example, it is not possible to add a network location for a library. Try to do so in the error message “The network drive is not included because it is not indexed” or “This folder can not be included because it applies to a stock that is not indexed” position.

Microsoft has provided a command line utility that they can appropriately named slutil.exe (no joke), which are used to network shares or sites about Windows 7 libraries to add.

A command line tool is usually not the most convenient option because most users prefer to use graphical user interfaces.
